• Please come to your appointment makeup-free. Cleanse your skin the morning of your appointment, but avoid using serums and moisturisers if possible.
• To maximise your treatment results, we recommend drinking at least a glass of water before and after your treatment, practising healthy eating habits, limiting sunbathing, alcohol consumption and smoking while undergoing your series of light therapy sessions and up to six weeks following your treatment.

There is no downtime with our LED light therapy treatment. The Aduro Pro salon LED is a pain-free treatment requiring no surgery and is completely safe and effective against all skin types. The light does not emit any harmful UVA or UVB rays. This means that it can be used after treatment, including PRP treatment, SkinPen needling and skin peels.

• Our Aduro Pro salon LED can be a standalone treatment or as an added-on to current treatment, including after a treatment and advanced skin treatments.

As with any cosmetic treatment, individual clinical results will vary from person to person Most clients require a number of treatment sessions over several weeks with gradual results occurring over time. Most clients will continue to see a marked improvement in their skin over the 6-12 week treatment period even after the initial LED sessions have concluded, however you may like to have a LED power book to maintain your results every 2-3 weeks

Generally a minimum of 6-12 treatments are required to achieve full results at which point you will be reevaluated to see if more sessions are needed in order to achieve realistic goals. Each client is different and may require more or less treatments depending on many factors including client age, original condition of skin, and diet. 

You may not be a candidate for treatment if you have skin cancer or arthritis, you're pregnant or breastfeeding, or you have heart conditions/pacemaker. If you take the following medications, it is recommended that you consult with your doctor prior to treatment to determine if it is safe for you to temporarily suspend the medications for 5-7 days before undergoing light therapy. Be sure to check with your doctor before discontinuing any prescribed medications. (Amiodarone, oral isotretinoin, accutane, haloperidol, trifluoperazine, griseofulvin antibiotics including doxycycline, ciprofloxacin, tetracycline, methotrexate, auranofin).
