• Avoid Sun exposure and/or usage of a tanning bed, including self-tanning products, for a minimum of 24 hours before and after the treatment.
• No area to be treated should receive any type of chemical peel or invasive skin treatments, including laser, for two weeks before or after treatment.
• Retin-A, Renova, and Tazorac must not be used for one week before or after treatment.
• The area to be treated must be clean and free of any lotion, makeup, and sunscreen. These must be completely washed off prior to treatment.
• During the course of your treatments, notify our staff of any changes to your medical history, health status, or personal activities that may be relevant to your treatment.
• Avoid anti-inflammatory/blood thinning medications 2-5 days prior to treatment. (Unless medically directed to take these by your GP or specialist). Medications such as Aspirin, Vitamin E, Omega 3/Fish Oil Supplements, Ibuprofen, Advil, and other NSAIDS have a blood thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising, bleeding and swelling after injections.
• Reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance if you feel unwell or have an active infection in the treatment area.
• Avoid vigorous physical activity or any large intakes of alcohol 24 hours prior to your treatment, as this increases the risk of bruising.

• The procedure may result in minor redness, treatment marks, small visible bumps, etc., this is normal and will generally subside within 1~2 days.
• LED light therapy can be added to your treatment to accelerate your healing, minimise your downtime and enhance your results. Red LED light therapy is available in the clinic and can be added to your treatment for an additional cost.
• Avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours post-treatment.
• Avoid rubbing/touching the treated area until the morning after treatment.
• Avoid applying makeup to the treated area for 24 hours post-treatment unless using Oxygenetix. Oxygenetix oxygenating foundation is the only foundation safe to use directly post treatment and is known for its ability to accelerate wound healing while also covering up the signs of treatment. (Oxygenetix is available to purchase in the clinic)
• After the procedure, you should carefully apply sunscreen with a high SPF index to prevent pigmentation.
• After the procedure, refrain from high-temperature entrances such as saunas. Excessive massage, such as scleroderma, should be avoided after the procedure.
• While there may be some initial slight swelling or papules on the treated areas immediately after the treatment, this will subside within 24 hours, and you can go about your day activities as usual.
• Avoid taking any blood thinning medications, including aspirin, ibuprofen and fish oils, for 48 hours post-treatment. Paracetamol is recommended for any discomfort.
• Avoid skin treatments, including waxing, facials, lasers, and chemical peels, for 2 weeks post-treatment.

• Arrive at your appointment make-up free. Avoid heavy exercise, drinking alcohol and smoking on the day of your appointment. Reschedule if you are feeling unwell.
